Follow the Reiger or Heron’s Path in the “Resterheide” Nature Park. You will go from one surprise to another. Your tour will take you along narrow paths and bridges through a beautiful forest. En route you will see a tree xylophone and a real tree museum with hundreds of tree species. At the end of the tour, don’t forget to walk to the top of the watch-tower and take in the splendid view. You can pick up a map of this walking route during opening hours from the Peer Tourist Centre.

Heron path
The heron path in the resterheide nature reserve immerses you in the wonderful world of woodland animals. Your adventurous trip via narrow paths and bridges ends with a great view of the begijnenvijvers (lakes) from the top of the observation tower.
